Smash or passes?
One mother thinks it is absurd for her and her husband to follow the “tradition” of his family and destroy their baby’s face on his first birthday cake.
Now she has returned to the infamous Aita forum of Reddit with a post titled, “To tell her husband not to destroy the cake” hoping for backup, as she fights between her husband’s family’s husband, against her child’s comfort.
“My husband is really convinced to push the baby’s face into the cake. I’m super against that,” she wrote.
She worries that tradition could leave her son (who is not even 1 year yet) by falling in love with the smile.
Her husband insists she is part of the celebrations of his Mexican family -but, as she pointed out, “he himself told me he always hated him as a child and that made him angry.”

The mother admits she does not see the humor and says her young son is particularly sensitive after a harsh first year.
“I told him if he does it, I will be angry and that he must tell his family that they are not allowed to do it themselves,” she warned.
Commentators gathered in support of the mother, with some calling the right cruel tradition.
One wrote, “You will not be a jerk. This tradition of waste. Â € ˜le € ™ € ™ is all humiliating the boy/girl of birthday and then telling and laughing!
Some offered a wider perspective. “I don’t understand why your husband is so eager to do this if he hated him when he was done. While saying the saying is the pressure from colleagues from dead people, and I cannot see why this is as precious as he would do what he hated as a child, and his wife’s anger,” noted a user.
Practical concerns also raised. â € œ is also quite dangerous for a child. The cake can obstruct its airways, you can damage your neck, or break your nose, even. Babies are fragile, – warned a commenter.

And some attracted the line in respect and security. “It’s simple” the answer is no […] This is the issue “respecting the boundaries”. If he does it, he does not respect you as the baby’s mother and certainly not as his wife, ”said a Redditor.
From cake removal to Cinderella’s spectacles, some fathers manage to complicate children’s birthday holidays-whether they mean or not.
As reported earlier by The Post, a mother of Connecticut recently came out for her 4-year-old Hirushes holiday, from custom-decorated napkins to lace decorated tablecloths and even an increased friendly spread.
But on the big day, her husband’s big question? â € œDID YOU GET A CAKE?
Davis captured his naive questions on the camera and shared the clip on Instagram, titling it, “looking so much to look for,” staring at a flood of comments by laughing (and uniting) for their men. “
