How a parent disciplines their child is a personal decision – but when touching innocent passers -by, this is something that can come out for debate.
A woman named Julia Austin went to Tiktok to share a time when she got her expensive jacket destroyed by a child – and the parent did nothing about her.
“I was in a restaurant recently and the table next to me was a family of two young children, and the kids had these juicy bottles they were playing with,” she said in her video that won over 250,000 views.
“Like, oh well, the juice must definitely be a toy, it will turn out well. Here’s and, eventually one of the kids [let go] and poured the juice all over my suede jacket $ 200. “
Austin explained how a server came to help cleaning and seemed to be more concerned about her dilapidated jacket – given that the mother responded calmly, “Oh, her jacket is fine.”
Of course, what is one person’s concern is not another. But in this case, the parent is technically wrong for not only allowing her children to play with juice, but also for her to destroy a stranger’s wardrobe and do nothing about it.
